That’s why we make sure our support team is made up of people who share common interests and are passionate about making a difference, people who the individuals we support would choose as friends. Our team members are more than just staff, they’re a crucial part of our family…

1 Step Beyond Support was born out of a shared passion and vision by three directors, each bringing their unique experience and expertise to the table. Our team and directors have a rich history in the adult social care sector. One started as a support worker and climbed the ranks to become a branch manager for a national care provider, before transitioning into a business development manager and consultant for other social care organisations. Other directors have spent years building, refurbishing, and maintaining homes for adults with disabilities, working closely with care providers to ensure these homes meet the highest standards. Together, we wanted to create something truly special – an organisation that puts the people we support at the very heart of everything we do.
